FAQ

Everything people ask before their first hour of quiet.

Straight answers about the pod, the heat, the cold, and how booking works. If your question isn't here, today's availability is one click away — the fastest answer is usually trying a session.

Float therapy

I can’t swim — can I still float?

Yes. The pod holds about ten inches of water saturated with 1,000 lbs of Epsom salt, so your body floats on the surface no matter what. Most guests rest with arms at their sides or overhead; there is no swimming involved.

Is the pod claustrophobic?

You control the lid the entire time — fully open, cracked, or closed — and the interior light stays on until you decide to turn it off. Many first-timers float with the lid cracked and the light on, then close both by their second visit.

What should I bring?

Just yourself. Each float room is private with its own shower, and we provide towels, earplugs, and everything else. You float without a swimsuit (the room is yours alone), though you may wear one if you prefer.

How long is a session, really?

Your booking holds the room for 90 minutes: 60 in the water, plus 15 before and 15 after for showers. Arrive 15 minutes early so none of your float time goes to logistics.

Infrared sauna & cryotherapy

How hot is the infrared sauna?

The cedar cabin runs at 118°F of dry radiant heat — no steam, no humidity. It warms your body directly rather than the air, so it feels gentler than a traditional 180°F sauna while you still sweat thoroughly over the 45 minutes.

Is three minutes of cryo really enough?

Yes — three minutes at −170°F air is the entire session, and we never extend it. Your head stays above the rim of the chamber the whole time, and a staff member stays with you from door to door.

Can I book two services back to back?

Absolutely. Sauna followed by cryo is our most common pairing. Book both slots on the calendar and we’ll schedule the rooms so you move straight from one to the other.

Booking, arrival & policies

Do I need to call to book?

No — and you can’t, on purpose. The calendar on the homepage is the studio’s live schedule. If a slot glows, it’s open; pick it and you’re booked. Same-day slots stay bookable until 30 minutes before start time.

What is your cancellation policy?

Reschedule or cancel free of charge up to 12 hours before your session. Inside 12 hours we charge half the session price, since a held room can rarely be re-booked that late. No-shows are charged in full.

Who should check with a doctor first?

If you are pregnant, have a heart condition, uncontrolled blood pressure, or open wounds, talk to your physician before booking cryotherapy or the sauna. Floating is gentler, but recently dyed hair and fresh tattoos need two weeks before salt water.

How does the 4-float monthly package work?

The package is $260 for four floats in a calendar month — a $40 savings over single sessions. Enrollment is handled in person at the studio; ask at the desk before or after any session and we’ll set it up in two minutes.

Still have a question?

Ask at the desk any day between 9:00 AM and 8:00 PM — or just book the session you're curious about. Every first visit includes a walkthrough of the room before you begin.
